SVTFOE S3 E1 Fanmade: The Quest For Star Part 1

Last time on Star VS. The Forces of Evil...

"Star?" Marco asked in confusion, looking up at Star on the stairs.

"Marco, we need to talk." Star said, coming downstairs as she walked in front of Marco. "Just one last time."

"Is everything okay? You shouted pretty loud." Marco asked, putting a hand behind his head. "Everybody's just staring at us."

"Yeah, I know." Star began, "But some stuff just came up, and I've only got a little time."

"Wait, why? We've got the entire Summer." Marco asked, shrugging his arms slightly.

Star had one hand on her other arm, "Marco, I don't know how to tell you this, because you're my best friend,"

"Star?"

"And that makes this super weird, because..." She continued.

Marco's eyes moved away then back at Star, "What's wrong?"

Star's eyes shrunk a bit nervously, "Because, I... I..."

Marco stared confused, waiting for her comment.

"I do have a crush on you." Star admitted.

Everybody around them gasped, including Marco's parents.

"What?! Who called it?! I called it! Boom!" Pony Head said excitedly.

Starfan13 fainted backwards.

"I called it." Pony Head said again.

"I didn't want to admit it, because I know you don't feel the same way, and I thought, if I just pretended the feelings weren't there, they'd go away." Star looked down, "But they haven't."

"I have to leave Earth, probably forever, and I couldn't go without telling you the truth." Star said sadly.

Marco looked upset.

"Uhhh...." Marco began, "I... Uhh..."

Star then began to tear up, tears were streaming down her face. She turned around, "Goodbye!! Goodbye everyone!!" She then ran back up to her room and towards the portal.

"STAR!!!" Marco yelled, running upstairs after her. "Hey!!"

Star then shut the door and a bright red flash of light appeared from behind it.

Marco then went into the door. "What do you mean-" He then gasped, "Star?" Marco then saw Star's bedroom, and all it's contents disappearing before his very eyes. It was just a plain spare bedroom now. Star was gone. She was no longer on Earth.

Marco couldn't believe what had just happened. His best friend had just basically told him that she loved him. And now, she was gone. His bestest friend in the entire world. And the person he cared about most. Marco just stood there in the doorway in complete shock. He felt so many emotions right now. So many different thoughts were going through his mind. He wanted to know why in the world she'd have to return to Mewni. He then screamed as loud as possible, "STAR!!!!" Suddenly, Jackie walked upstairs upon hearing Marco scream. She walked next to him.

"Hey dude, are you alright? I heard you yell, dude." Jackie asked in a concerned tone. Marco still looked worried among other things.

"No Jackie, I'm not alright!! Star is gone!!" He replied. That's when Jackie raised a brow, and gave a confused look.

"Uhhh, dude? Who is Star...?" She asked. Marco's heart had immediately sank upon hearing those words. Not only had Star's room disappeared, but also any traces or memories of Star had disappeared as well! But why could Marco still remember her?

Marco thought Jackie was just joking around, so he just chuckled a bit, "Come on now Jackie, Quit playing around! You know Star! Star Butterfly? My best friend? And she's your best friend, too! She's a magical princess from another dimension! Her and I have gone through several adventures through different dimensions! Don't ya know? The blonde girl with the wand?"

Jackie then looked concerned for Marco. "Umm... Dude?" She then felt his forehead, "Is everything alright in there? I think you're goin' a little nutso, dude."

Marco's eyes then widened in shock. It was true. It was as if Star had never came to Earth. Any traces or memories of her were completely gone. Well, everyone's but his. "I am NOT Nutso!!" Marco yelled in defense, "I KNOW Star is real, and I'm going to find her!! Oh! Pony Head, Kelly and Starfan13! They're downstairs!! At least... I think they are..." Marco then quickly ran downstairs, to see everybody at the party who was there before. Except for Pony Head, Kelly, and Starfan13. Marco's eyes widened in shock. "They're gone too..." He then began to tear up, "Star..." He then screamed, "STAR!!!!" Then Janna walked up to him, "Umm, Marco? You alright? Who is Star?" Suddenly Marco yelled at the top of his lungs, "AAAAAHHH!!!! I GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE!!!!" He then ran as quick as he could outside of his house. "I gotta find Star somehow!!! I won't give up until I'm able to see her again!!" He kept running and running until he made it to the end of Echo Creek, and Midnight was coming quickly. Nobody was around. Marco was walking slowly through a forest. He was crying a little, tears falling onto the soft soil. "Oh, Star..." He then continued walking, "I can't believe it... She's gone... And nobody remembers her but me... Why is this happening to me?! I... I don't want to go back to the boring life I used to have... Ever since Star came into my life, she's... She's... She's made me... happier." He then remembered what Star said before she left.

"I do have a crush on you."

"I have to leave Earth, probably forever, and I couldn't go without telling you the truth."

Marco still couldn't believe it. Tears were streaming down his cheeks, and the tears stained his cheeks.

He sniffled, "I can't believe Star feels that way about me... For some reason... I feel... I feel like there's something inside of me... A new feeling, that I just can't understand... Do I... Do I like Star... More than a friend?"

He was in a conflict with his true feelings for Star. Did he just want to be her friend? Or Perhaps something more? He didn't even know.

"Ugh... I don't even know anymore!" He then screamed into the sky, "AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!"

Suddenly, the moon became red, almost like a blood moon.

Marco saw it, And he gasped, "Huh? I... I saw that before... Back with Jackie, on our date... It can't just be a coincidence... It's got to mean something!!"

He then looked at the Blood Red Moon and thought about it, then he gasped in realization. He had remembered his and Star's dance at the Blood Moon Ball. And that was a blood Moon.

In a low tone, Marco said, "The Blood Moon Ball. Star and I... Our souls... Are bound together for eternity..."

He knew for that very reason. That's when he realized right then and there, that he had feelings for his best friend. Not just as a friend, but more. He loved her.

He then exclaimed, "I've gotta find Star!! I gotta make sure she's safe!! But... How will I get there?"

Suddenly, a mysterious shadowy figure came from the trees slowly, and he spoke in a low tone, "Marco Diaz. Come here."

Marco then turned to the shadowy figure, "Huh? Who are you?"

He then came out, and the figure was revealed to be none other than Tom.

"T-Tom?! What are you doing here?!" Marco asked in shock.

He then smiled, "Don't worry Marco, I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help you find Star." He frowned slightly, "That is, if you're willing to accept my help. I care about her too."

Marco smiled, "Yes! Please! Anything to see Star again! Nobody remembers who she is but me! And I don't understand why!"

Tom frowned slightly, "That's because your souls are bound together for eternity. You two basically work as one when that happens. So because of that, you still have your memories of Star. And the reason everyone else forgot about her is because once she left, all traces of Star were erased, all spells that she casted were reversed, and that includes everyone's memories of her. So it's like she never came to Earth."

He then smiled, "So, are you ready to find Star?"

Marco smiled, "Yeah! Let's just get this overwith!" Tom grinned, "Great." He then used his dimensional scissors to open a portal to none other than Mewni. They then jumped in together.
